ATD offers 3, 4, and 5 axis machining on mills and lathes. 

In the aerospace industry we commonly work with stainless, titanium, inconel, and aluminum alloys. Their shapes are most often bar and plate with forgings and castings also thrown into the mix.

The parts sizes are typically between a basketball and a grape.

Sheet Metal Fabrication has been on offer from ATD for over 50 years. 

At first the all of the profiles and bends were created using die sets. 

Once lasers were brought into our mix in the 1980s our ability to make complex profiles combined with our bending knowledge enabled us to tackle any aerospace bracket.

Everyone has to produce parts that meet requirements. Otherwise customers would quickly leave. 

A CMM (coordinate measuring machine) allows us to measure parts quicker and more accurately than hand and table tools. Automated CMMs are yet another step above that allow us (once programmed) to set the part on the table and let the machine inspect quicker than human hands could ever do.

ATD offers laser cutting and drilling of both large and small components in a 5-axis environment.  

If your part has complex contours that require hole patterns placed with exacting GD&T we are the solution.

This part is a simple example of combining a CNC machined component with a sheet metal component by welding them together. All of these processes are done within ATD.

This part is an example of combining a CNC machined forging with a CNC turned piece using pins and springs.
